Placemaking, Events and Consultation
Lisa is a placemaking specialist who brings over 11 years of experience delivering creative, community-led projects that generate meaningful social value. Her work spans creative engagement, event curation, public art and communications, with a strong focus on wellbeing and the co-creation of inclusive, people-centred places.
Since June 2022, Lisa has played a key role in shaping and operating Hadley’s meanwhile community hub, The LightHouse and Gardens on their site on the edge of the Olympic Park, International Quarter North. She leads the local team managing the space and works closely with a diverse range of on-site partners. The project has been shortlisted for four awards in the past two years. It continues to grow as a vibrant and inclusive destination for the East London community.
Lisa is particularly interested in regenerative approaches to placemaking. She has recently completed further study in Nordic Placemaking with the Place Leadership Academy and The Power of Place at The Really Regenerative Centre.
