Station Road, Colliers Wood

In the final days of 2019 Hadley acquired a site at Station Road, Colliers Wood and has since began to draw up initial proposals for a residential-led mixed-use scheme in the South London borough of Merton.

As the opportunity to consult with neighbours, elected members and community groups has been hampered significantly by the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, we are progressing a digital-first solution in the interim. We then hope to shift this strategy as soon as possible to ensure that we can meet all interested parties face-to-face.

For now, we are making ourselves available for phone calls, video conferencing and email correspondence whilst also engaging via our digital platform, which will go live shortly.

All exhibition boards, key dates, and a series of digital polls on a range of matters around the development will be available on this site.

Our proposals will include:

  • New private and affordable homes for London
  • New commercial opportunities for Merton businesses at ground and first floor
  • Enhancements to both the local biodiversity and ecology, including improvements to the River Wandle
  • Significant playspace and public access to the river
  • Enhanced public access to the river through the site

As well as commercial opportunities for local businesses at ground and first floor levels, our plans will deliver around 135 homes to Merton. As is the case for all proposed Hadley schemes, at least 35% of these will be affordable.
