Alex Portlock

Alex is a proactive and experienced Development Manager who has managed and delivered a number of HPG development projects throughout his 8 years with the company, working across site acquisition, design, planning and delivery stages.

Alex brings energy to his role and is skilled in extracting value from underutilised and constrained assets and maximising the development opportunities through design and planning stages.

These schemes include complex, large scale urban regeneration projects such as the award-winning 898-unit mixed-use Blackwall Yard scheme, bespoke urban in-fill developments such as our 116-unit mixed-use scheme at Station Road in Merton, and the redevelopment of the Blenheim Shopping Centre in Penge, which will transform the town centre whilst providing high quality public realm, a mix of commercial uses and much needed housing.

Outside of work Alex enjoys music production and DJing and loves playing football with the Hadley team.
