SO Well's Fitness Challenge Wrap-Up: Celebrating Movement for Mental Health
In honour of Mental Health Day, the Hadley team were encouraged to get moving more, and they certainly rose to the challenge! Delivered by our amazing health and wellbeing provider Gabby Briscoe at SO Well Together Ltd, and supported by the fantastic team at SoulFit, the Hadley staff embarked on a journey to integrate more movement into their workday. The office was buzzing with activity thanks to personalised fitness sessions by SoulFit and the delivery of two static bikes. These bikes became the centrepiece of a friendly competition, with the staff split into two teams competing for the highest mileage. This initiative culminated in an incredible Hadley Sports Day organised by SO Well.
Throughout the challenge, whether it was hopping on the office bikes for a quick ride, joining a lively SoulFit Livestream class, or engaging in spirited competition during the Sports Afternoon, the team exhibited remarkable enthusiasm.
A standout achievement of the challenge was the collective mileage achieved on the office bikes—an impressive 189.1 miles, equivalent to cycling from Hadley's London Bridge office to Brighton Pier three times over!
Due to popular demand, the bikes will remain in the office for a few more months. The team can keep track of their personal mileage, set new goals, or create fresh challenges.
A big thanks to every team member who participated wholeheartedly, bringing their energy and commitment to the challenge. Special gratitude goes to SO Well Together Ltd for organising the challenge and to SoulFit for their support in making this initiative a resounding success.
As we reflect on the Hadley Fitness Challenge, we celebrate not only physical activity but also its profound connection to mental well-being. By prioritising movement and fostering a supportive environment, Hadley reaffirms its commitment to promoting a healthy work-life balance and nurturing a culture of wellness.
We look forward to the next initiative - although let us catch our breath first!
