Last night, our proposals for 152 new homes on the banks of the Avon were awarded planning permission by Bristol City Council. The site, on the Bath Road, is a short walk from Temple Meads Station.
Despite a two-year planning journey, the scheme was approved first time in City Hall last night, with work expected to commence on site early next year.
By working closely with Bristol City Council and our Registered Provider, the scheme will deliver 30% affordable housing despite the site being heavily constrained.
There are aspirations, through partnership with a Housing Association, for the amount of affordable housing within the development to increase further - potentially as high as 50%.
