Golden Mile London
Last week at MIPIM, the London Borough of Hounslow launched its 15-year regeneration programme – Golden Mile London. Aiming to secure £7.5bn of investment along the Great West Road, a 2.5-mile stretch, the programme will accelerate Hounslow's status as a creative-tech innovation district, whilst delivering 14,000 homes, 25,000 jobs, and new educational, cultural and community spaces.
Since acquiring the former GSK Headquarters in late 2023, Hadley has maintained a close relationship with Hounslow, collaborating not only on our plans for 980 Great West Road but also on how this key site helps shape what comes next for the Borough. A mixed-use neighbourhood, providing 2,324 homes and 300,000 sq ft of commercial and community space, we achieved planning consent earlier this month, marking a significant step forward in the Council's ambitions to deliver long-term growth to the area.
The Golden Mile London is one of the most significant regeneration opportunities in London. This is about shaping the future of Hounslow, west London and London itself. Delivering thousands of new homes and jobs while creating greener, healthier neighbourhoods for our residents.
Golden Mile London will build on a legacy of industry and innovation on the Great West Road, introducing homes, workplaces and public spaces that reconnect the corridor with its surrounding neighbourhoods. Our site sits at the heart of this story, representing the opportunity of cross-sector partnership to achieve inclusive, sustainable growth for the Capital.
