Stratford Gateway

Stratford Gateway is a pop-up skills academy based at our IQL North site, developed to support people who face barriers to accessing the job market whilst providing industry-specific training in rail and construction. Delivered in partnership with Elite Project Services (EPS), the initiative uses meanwhile space to create practical routes into skilled employment for ex-offenders and individuals who might otherwise struggle to enter the workforce, supported by a commitment to fair pay as a London Living Wage-accredited employer.

Founded in 2018 by Martin Dunne, EPS specialises in supporting people leaving the prison system through a structured journey that begins with prison-based training programmes and continues with on-site practical experience and post-training support.

Since its establishment, Stratford Gateway has supported more than 500 ex-offenders and trained over 1,500 individuals in rail and construction skills.
