Friends of Betts Park
Local volunteer group in support its park and community
As part of our commitment to investing in the communities we develop in and improving vital community resources, we are proud to have supported Friends of Betts Park, based in Anerley, in their continued efforts to improve their park. Supporting work undertaken by idverde, Bromley Council’s park and greenspaces contractor, we funded work on the park’s play area, including new basketball court markings, anti-slip paint and sealer, coloured tarmac paint and three new benches, with works completed in July 2023.
Walter Leonard, Chair of Friends of Betts Park, said - “We’re really pleased that Hadley is taking an interest in our community. Good public spaces are important for everyone in these difficult times, and we love it when people are willing to help. We’re very proud of our park and know that the investment has helped improve the space and made a difference to everyone who uses this play area.”
