Head of Communications
Matt has worked exclusively within the property industry for eight years, his career prior to this spanned journalism, music and the entertainment industries respectively. A specialist in communications and engagement as well as an experienced copywriter, he is responsible for the formulation and implementation of Hadley's consultation strategies.
Before joining Hadley, he was heavily involved in the arts-based 'community living' projects in both Haringey and Hackney, when a large number of young creative and artistic individuals successfully campaigned for a reclassification of their live/work arts spaces despite their dwellings falling outside of traditional planning use types.
Matt leads on the Dulwich Hamlet community offering and has driven the engagement strategy since the site was acquired in early 2014. He is working alongside the club’s supporters, management team, advisers and associated government bodies to deliver the club into fan ownership and ensure a sustainable future for the long-standing amateur club.The scheme, although still in the pre-planning stages, has been lauded as a progressive and principled development by national and local media.
He is currently overseeing the company’s rebranding and is heavily involved in the group’s expansion and repositioning.
