Sunshine on a (partly) Rainy Day

Despite the driving rain and harsh temperatures that Wednesday brought, this year's MIPIM was the most progressive and exciting to date

The London stand at this year's MIPIM was, as always, full of great keynote speeches and round tables. Some of these were animated exchanges around the ever-present and always growing model of the city (shown below), supplied by Piper's/New London Architecture. Very welcome was the large amount of delegates from local authorities, who appear more proactive than ever in the sites that they are bringing forwards for partnerships. Our own Director of Regeneration, Steve Kennard, appeared as a guest on the Cluttons Overseas Investment panel - the results of which will appear in Property Week this week (1st April 2016).

The agenda was driven by London's ever-evolving skyline, investment routes into London and the public-private partnerships being explored by boroughs and development specialists
