Hadley begin work on residential scheme on Green Lanes site

Situated on on Haringey's ladder, equidistant between Manor House and Turnpike Lane, the corner site is currently a suit warehousing facility - but perfectly placed for an attractive, design-led addition to the streetscape.

Following the recent acquisition of our latest development site, Hadley have begun to work up provisional scheme ideas together for a street-fronted, residential scheme in the up-and-coming N8 area.

The design process, led by architects PTE, will provide much-needed housing and ancillary commercial space in for the borough. Situated between Manor House and Turnpike Lane tube stations and a stone’s throw from the Haringey Green Lanes Overground station, Hadley are very pleased to be working up a mixed-use, residential-led scheme on the site of the existing Hawes and Curtis suit warehouse facility. The site was earmarked for redevelopment in Haringey Council’s own site allocation plan and we are looking forward to delivering something firmly attuned to the borough’s needs.

At these initial stages of design there are no firm numbers on the amount of housing to be delivered, but Hadley will be working closely with the community, the ward and borough's elected members, and our own development team in the coming months in order to ensure that the scheme is both tasteful and practical enough to deliver community benefits, and well as contributing to the affordable housing which the borough requires.
