William Stein

Will is part of the Senior Leadership Team at Hadley, championing company-wide development management optimisation, project leadership and managing investor and other stakeholder partnerships throughout the entire life cycle of Hadley delivery projects. He has a track record of creative design management, commercial optimisation at every stage in the design and delivery process across asset classes and scales of projects and a policy background that grounds his work in affordable housing-focused regeneration.

As Project Director, Will oversees multiple projects in varying stages, from site acquisition through delivery. Day-to-day, he manages Hadley’s internal development team of DMs, with overall ownership of the design, planning and delivery journey for Hadley’s projects.

Will brings extensive experience in urban design, public-private partnerships and housing delivery to Hadley, with more than 5.5 years at Lendlease in the UK and the NYC Economic Development Corporation beforehand. At Lendlease, he worked on various projects, including the £4.5bn+ GDV Silvertown in Newham. In New York City, he was responsible for the strategic asset management of a 4m+ sq ft commercial and light industrial portfolio on NYC’s rapidly changing Brooklyn waterfront, including film and TV developments, provision of affordable artist and creative/tech workspace, and major public realm and infrastructure investment.
