Head of Communications and Business Development
Matt is responsible for the formulation and implementation of Hadley's communications and engagement strategies. As well as leading on our branding, corporate and web-based comms, he is also responsible for growing and maintaining the company's public and private sector partnerships. This includes Joint Ventures and the bidding process.
Arriving late to the property industry in his early thirties, Matt's earlier ventures as musician, manager and liaison within the creative industries have helped him to develop a wide-ranging set of transferrable skills which have proved invaluable on a number of Hadley schemes.
Immediately prior to joining Hadley, he was heavily involved in the arts-based 'community living' projects in both Haringey and Hackney, when a large number of young creative and artistic individuals successfully campaigned for a reclassification of their live/work arts spaces despite their dwellings falling outside of traditional planning use types.
