Planning permission granted for Totterdown Reach, Bristol

Bristol's Major Development Planning Committee last night voted in favour of our residential scheme in central Bristol

Our proposals for 152 new homes on the banks of the Avon have been awarded planning permission by Bristol City Council after they were heard at June's Major Development Committee A at Bristol's City Hall. The site, close to Totterdown Bridge on Bath Road, is a short walk from Temple Meads Station.

After a two-year planning journey, the scheme was approved at the first time of asking, with work expected to commence on site early next year following completion of the Section 106 agreement.

By working closely with Bristol City Council and our preferred Registered Provider, the scheme will deliver at least 30% affordable housing despite the site being heavily constrained.

There are aspirations, through partnership with a Housing Association, for the amount of affordable housing within the development to increase further - with the total number sitting potentially as high as 50%.
