Bristol City Council's search for a joint venture partner - three finalists announced

Hadley named as one of three final round bidders for Baltic Wharf, BCC's first public/private Joint Venture on Council-owned land
Published Fri 16 Aug 2019

Despite high levels of interest at both local and national levels, Hadley has been named as one of three preferred bidders for the waterside site. Following a final round of further design and interviews, one of the three will be selected to deliver the scheme in a joint venture with Goram Homes, the council's wholly-owned development company.

Our scheme will contain 40% affordable housing alongside co-working space, a cycle cafe and repair facility, as well as a number of waterfront leisure activities. The scheme was developed in conjunction with a Bristol-based team which includes AHMM Architects, Avison Young and Buro Happold. We expect the competition to be concluded and the city's development partner to be announced in October of this year.
